FrugalFox AI is a smart shopping companion powered by AI that allows users to scan products, compare prices in real time, and discover personalised discounts across multiple retailers — making shopping smarter, faster, and more cost-effective.
FrugalFox AI is a cross-platform mobile shopping assistant built to help everyday consumers stop overpaying. Leveraging computer vision and real-time price aggregation, the app lets users scan any product barcode and instantly see the best available price across dozens of retailers. We designed and built the full stack — from the AI recommendation engine to the React Native mobile apps on iOS and Android — on top of a scalable AWS infrastructure backed by Python FastAPI.
